Doctor of Chiropractic

These are words from Dr. Tim directly to you describing his amazing journey to becoming a healthy and passionate Maximized Living Doctor! linebreaklinebreak
I am Dr. Tim the owner/president of Infinity Wellness Center, P.C. After graduating from chiropractic school in 1999, I had a vision of running a chiropractic office that was a true wellness center. Chiropractic is the leading “alternative” health care profession and believes in helping the body heal itself with out the unnecessary use of drugs and surgery. While chiropractic is the foundation of my office, I wanted to offer some different services to help compliment the care at our wellness center. This has led me to adding nutrition counseling and whole body detoxifying services, including infrared sauna treatments & footbaths. Check out the different pages on our site to learn more about these other services. linebreaklinebreak

I was born in Wisconsin and relocated to Southern Nevada in 1980. I was raised in a smaller town outside of Las Vegas. I graduated valedictorian of my high school class in 1991, and then moved to Las Vegas to attend UNLV. In 1993, I married my high school sweetheart and we have two amazing kids. We live by the 5 essentials in our home, and work very hard to teach our children how to live by these essentials! linebreaklinebreak

In college, I majored in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine and was able to work on rehabilitating college athletes for 3 years. Upon graduating from school in 1995, I was undecided on my future. I was leaning towards physical therapy school but had also thought about medical school. After graduating I had applied to various schools and decided to get a job in a rehabilitation facility to get work experience and make sure of my decision. This was the changing point in my life. linebreaklinebreak

I was working at a pharmaceutical company on a full-time basis during the day and at the rehab center from 4 until 9. While working for the rehab center I was introduced to chiropractic for the first time. I had headaches for as long as I could remember, suffered from terrible sinus/allergy problems and had chronic neck pain. Because I worked there and was able to talk to the chiropractor, I decided to give it a shot. He told me to stop taking my allergy medication and in just a bit of time he would get me off the 800mg Motrin I was taking like candy. Shortly after beginning care, I started to notice improvements. My headaches decreased and allergies weren’t as bad. This had such a profound effect on me that I made the decision to change course and head to chiropractic school. linebreaklinebreak

Chiropractic school was a great experience. Part of what I learned was that the body, given the right opportunity, would heal itself naturally. As a chiropractor I don’t treat any specific disease, I simply find areas of “subluxation”, a chiropractic term for misaligned vertebrae, and restore normal function to the area. This process allows the body to communicate properly and do its best to heal itself. Sometimes the body needs more help with nutrition, exercise, detoxification, and in crisis situations, drugs or surgery. I believe we need to give the body a fighting chance. Too many times people are looking for a quick fix to a big problem and then they find out that the problem has just deteriorated. linebreaklinebreak

If we can find the cause of the problem we have a good chance of fixing it. I invite you to make an appointment for a no cost consultation. With just a little bit of information and time we can try to determine the cause of the problems and present you with a solution to these problems rather than just a Band-Aid to cover it up. We believe in helping the person not just a symptom. linebreaklinebreak

When I am away from the office I love to spend time with my friends and family. I love to CrossFit, play volleyball and travel! linebreaklinebreak

I look forward to talking with you! linebreaklinebreak
To your health! linebreaklinebreak
